Particulate Matter is one of the most misunderstood issues in Thailand, and studies have concluded that the phenomenon isn't just a recent occurrence. Despite studies demonstrating the dangers of PM2.5, the only time the media covers the issue is when the situation gets worse in Bangkok, even though cities like Chiang Mai are constantly exposed to high levels of the pollutant. This study aims to evaluate the understanding of the Thai population on the source of PM2.5 production in the country.
